New Poem for Wellness Paper

Nights like this by Tz

And then there are nights like this
Ocean and fog with buildings disappeared
Alone in the dark of neon TV light fan rumbling
DVD blaring, typing by chance Calibri (body)
Boardwalks beckon unearthly half circular ribbons
To the right of the dark misty blackness

In Brookhaven you’re safe for now
Nothing comes to call no Flying Dutchman
No Ahab and his Moby whale

Safe to render safe dreams of sleeker days
In healthier body’s, somewhere else besides
The four walls of there it seems for now

But I’ll keep watch for you
Just in case
Something should beckon
Or come ashore
And ask for truth
Or for any of you, sleep tight for now
